Essence Hair Studio is now Dayna Beauty Spa!
Same great hair services and now so much more.
Well, it really happened – Essence Hair Studio is now Dayna Beauty Spa! Lorna handed the keys on June 1 and after some very quick equipment alterations, the salon now offers manicures, pedicures and waxing services as well as the same wonderful hair care, as stylists Lorna, Amy and Bryan are staying on.
The renovations now include manicure and pedicure stations plus a private room for waxing. As you can see from the photos (scroll down), the salon looks very familiar, just with bonuses!
The phone number stays the same too, so you don’t have to update your phone index!
The hair stations have gone back to where they were before the pandemic, with the added bonus of all these lovely nail colours!

Lorna and Essence Hair Studio are featured in the History of Hair exhibit currently showing on the 3rd floor in the Museum at the Anvil Centre. Stop by and check out the wide variety of original implements that used to be used in hairdressing and be thankful for how far we’ve come since those early days! We are so thankful to be part of this show and even moreso to work in this great community.
